Traffic Signs

A list of core traffic signs with explanations and gotchas for each.

1. Warning Signs

   Warning signs indicate to the road user what they cannot do. These signs typically use circle or triangle shapes, as opposed to rectangles that are used to provide information.

2. Information Signs

   Information signs are used to let road user know what's coming up ahead. These signs are shaped like blue rectanges, unlike blue circles, which indicate mandatory instructions. Note that blue rectangular signs on motorways are direction signs.
