We are delighted to announce that Adam Healy has been awarded Driving Instructor of the Year for Wales at the GoRoadie Awards 2026.
Operating through Nigel Richards Driving School, Adam has become a local legend in the Llafynydd, Mold and Chester areas. Known for his fun and informative teaching style, he has turned the often-stressful experience of learning to drive into an enjoyable journey for thousands of students.
Adam came to driving instruction seeking a more rewarding and flexible career—and when he isn't helping pupils navigate the Welsh borders or securing another first-time pass, he can be found on his home farm tending to his sheep and goats. That grounded, community-focused approach is reflected in the patience and dedication he brings to every lesson.
With over 200 five-star reviews and a reputation for being in huge demand, this award recognises what his students have known for years: Adam Healy isn't just an instructor; he's a mentor who genuinely cares about making the roads safer, one confident driver at a time.
Congratulations to Adam on this well-deserved award!
