ADI of the Year - Wales Mikaela Charles

We are delighted to announce that Mikaela Charles of MC School Of Motoring has once again been named the Driving Instructor of the Year (Wales) 2025.
Serving the Ebbw Vale area, Mikaela continues to make a lasting impact on her learners and the community. Her dedication to driver education and innovative approach to teaching have set her apart as a true leader in the industry.
Mikaela actively engages with her students beyond lessons, sharing mindfulness techniques and even local job opportunities on her social media platforms. Her support extends beyond driving, fostering confidence and life skills in her students.
A huge congratulations to Mikaela on this well-deserved recognition!
We reached out to Mikaela, and she told us what the award meant to her:
I would like to thank everyone who took the time to vote for me again! The support I have from my community, learners and family is incredible.
It’s been a tough time for the industry with the long waiting lists for practical tests and the cost of living crisis making it more difficult for learners to be able to afford lessons this recognition means so much!
Receiving this award for a third time provides me with the motivation and passion to continue to better myself as an ADI in the future.
