Herne Bay driving test centre - temporary relocation

Due to unexpected roadworks close by, from today, Tuesday 13 January 2026, Herne Bay driving test centre will move to a temporary address.
These arrangements will be in place until 23 January 2026.
All car tests booked at the Herne Bay site will start at from the Age UK office.
The temporary address is:

16 Reculver Rd
Herne Bay
CT6 6LE
Please park in Cornwallis Avenue and meet examiners in the waiting area. Toilets are available.
Your examiner will meet you at your allocated test time.
Motorcycle and ADI/PDI tests are unaffected as they are still being carried out at the current site - Herne Bay MPTC (multi-purpose testing centre).

DVSA have contacted candidates affected by this location change.
However, if you have booked a test on behalf of your pupil, please let them know about these changes.
