Reading Driving Test Centre - moving premises

DVSA is leaving its current site because it is being developed into housing.
Driving tests will be moved to a temporary driving test centre at the Holiday Inn, while the lease is negotiated on a permanent new driving test centre for Reading.
The last day of testing at the Elgar Road site will be on 22 March
The first day of Testing at the temporary Holiday Inn site will be 24 March

Information session
DVSA will hold an information session about the changes to Reading Driving Test Centre on 10 March at 6pm at the Holiday Inn.
We won’t be able to tell you the location of the new centre, but we will aim to answer any questions.

We will let you know the address of the permanent new site as soon as we are able to.
Car park enforcement at the Holiday Inn
Please do not take your pupils to practice at the Holiday Inn. The hotel uses cameras to enforce parking rules, which require your number plate to be given to reception to avoid a fine.

DVSA are contacting all candidates affected by this temporary relocation, however, if you have booked a test on behalf of your pupil, please let them know about these changes.
