Would you like to take part in some research commissioned by DVSA?
Research on factors that may affect performance in theory and practical driving tests
DVSA is working with the Transport Research Laboratory (TRL) to get your thoughts on factors that may impact your pupil’s performance in their theory and practical tests. We are also asking for your thoughts on the experience of learning to drive.
As part of this, TRL will be interviewing a small number of learner drivers, newly qualified drivers and approved driving instructors (ADI).
Your experience and expertise are invaluable in helping TRL to understand the challenges faced by your pupils and to make sure that the system works effectively for everyone.
This research is separate to the recent DVSA call for evidence on booking and managing car driving tests.
How to take part
The study involves a brief interview (around 1 hour), which can be conducted online at a time that’s convenient for you. In return, you’ll receive a £30 Amazon voucher.
If you’re interested in taking part all you need to do is register your interest with TRL by completing a short survey. You’ll then be contacted by TRL if you’re selected to take part.
